Maybe I should rename all the posts about studying abroad “Studying in the US” instead of just “Studying abroad” – but since it was not clear that I was going to apply to the US when I started writing about this topic, I will not rename the posts.
There are many things you have to wait for if you are going to study abroad. Here are some of them, and it is like this at Växjö university:
- After you have submitted the application, you have to wait several weeks for the nomination. This is, so far, the worst period of waiting, according to me.
- After you have come to know about your nomination, you have to wait for the application forms to the university where you want to apply. For now, this period of waiting has started to annoy me, because I don’t know when the last application date is.
- Then, you have to wait for the admission. It’s not equally annoying and nervous as to wait for the nomination, I think.
- And finally, you have to wait till you are finally going!
I’m sure that there are a lot more things you have to wait for. I will not do anything more until I finally get the application papers. Maybe I seem impatient, but I would like to get them pretty soon anyway…
It seems like I can’t talk about anything else than the topic about studying in the US, but it’s kind of important to me for the moment. But of course, there are also other things in my mind: such as my study, my friends, my family, and so on.
If there are anyone who is going abroad to study, then contact me, maybe we could discuss about the process together and eventually be nervous or more calm together!
